Digamma Star Flower Christmas Ornament Bead Pattern

Add a little glamor to your tree this year with this sumptous 6 poined Digamma Star Flower Ornament! The large inset crystals ensure it will be a twinkling addition to your Christmas decorations. This ornament is approximaely 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches and is surprisingly sturdy for its size. We have used off white, light and dark shades of rose edged with galvanised yellow gold beads to make up our star, however you can use as few as 2 colours or up to 13 colours, perfect for any left over colour coordinated beads you may have from previous projects. You could even select the colours that match best to your own tree! As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 39 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This ornament bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. A form of round peyote is used but full detailed instructions are given and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 4 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 8.5cm x 8.5cm. 6 x 10mm crystal AB beads, 7 x 4mm crystal AB beads, 2 x 3mm gold plated jump rings are also required The bead pattern supplied is 13 pages and includes 39 full colour photo instructions.
