Christmas Tree Shooting Star Ornament Bead Pattern

This is a delightful piece that can easily be made in about 2-3 hours. The Star has a slight 3d effect and looks stunning on the Christmas tree! The ornament is a 5 pointed star compromising of 5 diamond panels, in each panel is a little decorated Christmas Tree. Hanging from the star is a snowman panel and tiny tree panel along with crystals and silver bells. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and peyote or brick stitch can be used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with either Brick, Peyote or Both. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 6 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 5.5 cm x 13 cm (including loop and fringe). 1 x 6mm Blue crystal, 10 x 4mm Blue crystal beads, 3 Jump rings and 5 silver Jingle Bells (Optional) are required for the fringe-work. Please note pliers are required for the jump rings.
