Further Information on Beadwork Design

We would like to announce the addition of our first 6cm Christmas Bauble ornament. We have had many requests for a 6cm diameter ornament and we hope that the Christmas Snowflake village will be a fantastic addition to your tree. The ornament comprises of 6 brick stitch oval panels joined together with crystals and pearls. Each panel is a different scene in Snowflake village. As expected from a ThreadABead pattern there is a huge amount of detail in each 3.5cm x 2.5cm panel and some of the images you can find include Santa and his reindeer, a church, the village Christmas tree, and a moon all set against the homes and scenery of snowflake village. When sewn together these panels work together to form a panarama of the village that can be viewed when turning the bauble around. This ornament promises to become a treasured heirloom that will delight and interest year after year. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and Brick Stitch is used. Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 14 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 11.5cm x 6cm. 6 x 10mm Crystal AB beads, 18 x 6mm Crystal AB beads, 12 x 4mm Crystal AB beads, 42 x 3mm Crystal AB beads, 48 x 4mm White Pearl and 1 x 6cm bauble is also required. The pattern supplied is 13 pages and includes close up photo of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern, a numbered coloured pattern and assembly instructions
