This necklace is fast to bead, taking around 2-3 hours to complete and is also a great way to use up spare silver lined colours. Each bulb is made with round peyote and has a double string of delica beads intersected with 24ct gold plated beads connecting them together.
Of course, don’t just stop with a necklace, why not turn these little beaded bulbs into a garland and use it to decorate your mantle piece or small tree!
Although no knowledge is assumed, it is recommended that the beader does have prior experience of beading. Techniques used are Round Peyote.
As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 31 detailed steps. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 9 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 2.5(w) x 45.72 (h) cm
A no tangle thread bobbin is very useful and 6lb crystal Fireline thread is recommended. 7 x 4mm Crystal AB Beads, 7 x 6mm Crystal AB Beads, 7 x 10mm Crystal AB Beads, 5+ x 4mm 24ct Gold Plated Beads and 1 x 6mm 24ct Gold Plated Beads are also required.
