Under the Sea Large Bauble Ornament Bead Pattern

Come with us as we dive under the sea and investigate the small community living under the beaded waves! In this Under the Sea bauble, there is an abundance of details and each way you turn the ornament shows a different scene. There are just so many things to spot all around this 6cm bauble including animals like: a jelly fish, seahorse, a mini shoal of fish, angel fish, crab, turtle, stripy fish, clown fish, octopus, whale, goldfish and starfish! Other details you can discover are coral and reed beds, lots of bubbles and even a diver picking up an anchor off the sea bed floor! The beaded band is created using Even Count Peyote with a Brick Stich border of triangles added to the bottom of the band. Attached to the Brick Stitch diamonds are fringes made up of tan and silver delicas and crystal AB beads. At the bottom of each fringe are circles of silver lined blue delicas to mimic the bubble effect on the design in the beadwork band. This Under the Sea Bauble Final bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and even count peyote and brick stitch is used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with these stitches, however bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 20 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 11.5cm x 6cm. 28 x 8mm crystal AB beads, 49 x 4mm crystal AB beads and a 6cm bauble are also required. The bead pattern supplied is 14 pages and includes a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern , a numbered coloured pattern and assembly instructions.
