3D Oti the Octopus Under Water Trinket Box Bead Pattern

Oh no! Oti the Octopus has decided he very much likes the beaded underwater trinket box we have been working on. He has decided to sit on top of the box and is refusing to move! Oti is a cutie, isn’t he? We don’t really mind him staying on the box, in fact since he likes it so much, let’s name the box after him! Of course, Oti doesn’t need to sit on a box, he can also be beaded as an ornament by himself. In this pattern we give full detailed photographic and graphic instructions, and there are 62 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 16 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6.5cm (h) x 7.5cm(w) 2 x 4mm Crystal AB, Polyester Wadding and 1.5 x 30cm white pipe cleaner is required. Optionally Fireline 6lb thread can be used instead of Nymo for extra stiffness on the box. Oti should be beaded in Nymo preferably. The bead pattern supplied is 41 pages and includes 62 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A pattern chart and word chart is also included.
