The Teddy Bear Picnic Set Bead Pattern

ThreadBear politely asked Lynsey if it would it be possible for him to have his very own picnic set, instead of borrowing the one from the doll house all the time. It’s seems there are a lot of beaded teddy bears out in the world since our last pattern launch and so he thought it would be a super idea if Lynsey shared the instructions to make his picnic set too. It would mean so many more bears could be also enjoying picnics – and bears do enjoy a picnic! Lynsey, of course, could not refuse such a nice request, so here it is, a picnic set for the teddies! In the picnic set you will bead enough items for a picnic for two bears including 1 x picnic hamper, 1 x tablecloth, 2 x 3 difference types of food (sandwich, cake and bun), 2 x side plates, 1 x cake plate, 2 x teacup and saucers, 1 x tea pot. Of course, if you invite more than 2 bears in your picnic you can just make more! This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. This pattern uses an array of stitches like Round Peyote, Odd Count Peyote, Ladder Stitch and Square Stitch. Knowledge of the stitches is not assumed as full detailed instructions are given. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 16 delica colours. Fire polished round beads are required as follows: 2 x 3mm Round Firepolished Fuschia, 2 x 3mm Round Firepolished Siam, 3 x 3mm Round Firepolished 24kt Gold. A small amount of Polyester wadding is also required. The bead pattern supplied is 48 pages and includes 123 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included.
