This is a delightful piece that can be made in about 6-7 hours. The bauble ornament is 3d with tassel and looks stunning on the Christmas tree!
The ornament is a 3d diamond like shape compromising of 8 individual diamond panels which when put together form a beady town Christmas scene. The scenes include Angle, Santa, Carol singer/Tree, Bob Bead, Ice Skaters, children making snowman and child tobogganing. Hanging from the bauble is a cascade of tiered fringe work with silver bells.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and peyote or brick stitch can be used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with either Brick, Peyote or Both. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 13 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 4cm x 17 cm (including loop and fringe).
2 x 6mm clear crystal, 7 x 4mm clear crystal beads, 11 x 3mm clear crystal beads and 7 silver Jingle Bells (Optional) are required for the fringe-work.
The pattern supplied is 16 pages and includes close up photo of the finished work, a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern, a numbered coloured pattern and assembly instructions (including fringe-work instructions).
