Light Up LED Pendant Bead Pattern

On first look, this pendant seems rather boring; however add a battery and it changes into a rainbow of colours! Utilizing some fabulous new electronic technology from ThreadABead you can now add light to your beadwork! On this pendant we use a colour changing LED and some very simple electronics to create the light up effect. When switched on the centre panel of the pendant lights up and repeatedly changes colour ranging from green, yellow, blue, pink, red and orange including lots of colours in between! We have developed this ornament to work with an Electronic Colour Changing LED Kit – available from www.threadabead.com/shop. You do not need any knowledge of electronics to complete this project, and as usual with ThreadABead featured patterns full photographic step by step instructions are given, making this project suitable for even beginners to beading. There are 3 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6.25cm x 5.5 cm (not including necklace) 2 x 4mm jump rings, 1 x 5mm jump ring and 1 x parrot clip are required. In addtion, you will also need 1 x Colour Change Electronic Kit (available from www.threadabead.com/shop) and a small amount of Beading Foundation for the electrical components. Extra equipment needed: Wire cutters, Pliers and Round Nose Pliers.
