Winter Memories Christmas Bauble Ornament Bead Pattern

The first version of this ornament was originally available as a free project in Bead Magazine Issue 43, but its now available for the first time on www.threadabead.com for anyone that missed out! I love Christmas and look forward to unpacking my favorite decorations each year. I wanted this ornament to look like an old favorite ageing ornament that has been lovingly placed on the tree for many years with the panels around it capturing memories of past winter snowfall. This Winter Bauble bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads and peyote or brick stitch can be used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with either Brick, Peyote or Both. Peyote and Brick stitch bead instructions are available free on www.threadabead.com. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 8 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6 cm x 3 cm. 1 x 3cm Bauble, 48 x 3mm Crystal AB, 16 x 4mm Crystal AB, 16 x 6mm Crystal AB, 32 x 4mm Cream Pearls are also required. The bead pattern supplied is 11 pages and includes a colour chart of suggested delicas, a colour pattern and a numbered coloured pattern.
