3D Observatory Christmas Village Ornament Pattern Bead Pattern

The Christmas Village Observatory is the thirteenth of a series of 3D House ornaments that make up the ThreadABead Christmas Village. This building is a very special one – with a telescope on a circular dome that rotates 360 degrees to get the best possible view of the night sky. As it draws nearer to Christmas Eve with the north star shining brightly above, the observatory becomes an important part of the village with the elves always keeping an eye on Santa and his test flights. Elf Starry Gazebright also loves bringing his dog, Sir Wags-a-lot with him to look at the stars and constellations. And look at little Peekie Niceness, he keeps an eye on the village – letting Santa know about all the good behaviour he sees. The 3D Observatory has been designed sit on a mantle piece as part of a winter village scene. Made using Round Peyote the Observatory takes around 6 hours to bead. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 51 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 13 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 3.25cm (w) x 3.25 (d) x 5.75 (h) cm Wadding is required along with 1 x head pin, 3 x 6mm clear crystal AB beads and a small thin piece of clear plastic such as acetate, which can be found on used food packaging etc and a no tangle thread bobbin is useful. The bead pattern supplied is 18 pages and includes a full colour photo instructions and coloured pattern chart where needed.
