3D Penguin Hut Christmas Village Ornament Bead Pattern

The Penguin Hut is the eighteenth of a series of 3D house ornaments that make up the ThreadABead Christmas Village. In the coldest corner of the village you will find the penguin hut. Its so cold here that the roof of the hut is covered in snow AND ice – but the penguins don’t mind. In fact Petula Penguin is out ice skating, with a pretty pink bow in her hair. When Petula is not skating she loves to garden and tend to her hanging basket. But if you go around to the back of the hut Parker Penguin is out fishing in his special wishing well, lets hope he has caught a big fish! The 3D hut has been designed with a flat bottom it can sit on a mantle piece as part of a winter village scene. Made using Round Peyote and Odd Count Peyote the house takes around 8 hours to bead. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 59 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 16 colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 4.25cm (w) x 3.5(d) x 3.25 (h) cm A short piece of black thread such as 1 strand of embroidery thread or thick cotton is required. Wadding is optional and a no tangle thread bobbin is useful. If the beadwork is to be used as an ornament some ribbon/thread will be needed to hang the beadwork from. The bead pattern supplied is 21 pages and includes full colour photo instructions and a coloured pattern chart where needed.
