Santas Visit - A Large 3D Delica Christmas Beadwork Stocking Bead Pattern

This piece is truly a work of art. We wanted to make a fully beaded stocking made solely from delicas with lots of detail that was big enough to hold a small present or two, and look what the result of that request is! Lynsey has used a contrast of delicas to give the design a beautiful sparkly effect. Beaded in the round this is a fun project to make, with no stitching together! So, what will you fit in your stocking? Here we have popped in some chocolates and a candy cane! But there is room for a little present or two….. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed instructions and in this pattern, there are 30 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. A form of Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 23 delica colours in total for each stocking and the finished beadwork is approximately 7.75cm (w) x 9.25cm (h) (not including loop).
