Winter Wonderland Trinket Box Bead Pattern

Enjoy a walk around our little winter wonderland. Ok maybe not really, as it’s so tiny, but who wouldn’t want live on the lid of this beady box! On the lid is a miniature 3D scene of a cottage, tree and teeny tiny snowman. A path runs up to the cottage but who lives inside? We think it might be Santa ?? Around the base of the box continues the festive scene, with a train against a backdrop of wintery landscape with snow covered buildings in the distance. What would you put inside such a beautiful Christmas box, festive sweets? a piece of jewellery? We don’t know but we can’t wait to find out! In this pattern we give full detailed photographic and graphic instructions. There are 77 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading, however it is an advanced project using lots of different techniques. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote and Odd Count Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitches are required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 17 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6.75cm (h) x 5.5cm(w) Fireline 6lb Thread is optional and can be used instead of Nymo to give more stiffness to the beadwork but is not necessary. The bead pattern supplied is 36 pages and includes 95 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is provided as required.
