3D Easter Chicken and Egg Trinket Box Bead Pattern

Of course, in our trinket box series, how could we not create an Easter chick box! The lid of the trinket box features 2 decorated Easter eggs and a broken egg containing a little beaded chick! And, of course the little chick can hatch out of his egg so he can be taken off the lid. You could always make him into a necklace to go inside of the box! In this pattern we give full detailed photographic and graphic instructions, and in this pattern, there are 64 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 15 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6.5cm (h) x 5cm(w) Optionally Fireline 6lb thread can be used instead of Nymo for extra stiffness on the box if required, but it is not necessary as this box is on the smaller side to our other boxes. The bead pattern supplied is 38 pages and includes 64 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included.
