Standing just a few centimetres tall and stitched entirely in peyote stitch, these sweet little hedgehogs capture the gentle magic of the hedgerow. With their cosy spiky coats and round noses, they look as though they’ve just wandered in from a woodland adventure.
Hattie carries a tiny daisy she’s picked along the way, while Humphry proudly shows off his snazzy bow tie.
Full of character and delightful to make, Humphry and Hattie are the perfect miniature companions. Whether displayed together, made into earrings, charms, pendants etc to be given as a gift, or simply enjoyed as part of your beaded collection, these two little hedgehogs are sure to bring a touch of woodland warmth and personality wherever they appear.
In this pattern we give full detailed photographic and graphic instructions to make the present, and there are 47 detailed steps.
This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 11 delica colours in total and the finished figure is approximately 1.25 cm (w) x 2 cm (h) x 1.25cm (d).
2 x True2 Jet Fire polished Round beads are required along with some polyester wadding. The bead pattern supplied is 20 pages and includes 47 step by step photo and graphic instructions. A word chart is also included.
