Angel Bauble Ornament Bead Pattern

This angel ornament bauble is a sumptuous decoration created using Brick Stitch and Odd Count Peyote. Around the ornament is 4 angel panels intersected by 4 decorative diamond shaped features. Hanging down from the diamonds are silver lined fringes and swags lavished with gold, turquoise and crystal AB beads. Hang this ornament on your Christmas tree or keep it out all year round! This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica beads. Odd count peyote and brick stitch is used. It is assumed the beader will be familiar with Brick and Peyote. However A Beginners Guide to Odd Count Peyote and making a Brick Stitch Diamond are available free on www.threadabead.com/instructions. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 7 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 3.3cm x 6.5cm. Each bead pattern is mounted on a 3cm bauble. 7 x 3mm Gold Plated Crystal Beads, 14 x 6mm Clear Crystal AB Beadsand 14 x 6mm Turquoise Crystal Beads are required for the fringe-work. (please note almost any beads around 3-5 mm would work though).
