How are thy leaves so verdant!
Well our 3d beaded one certainly is!
Our tree has four tiers of branches made using only delica beads that curl and wave so when beaded gives each tree a unique bushy look and feel!
Our main tree is beaded in green and you could use lots of different shades and finishes of green but why not try different colours such as white, silver, blue, pink etc for your tree to give it a more modern look.
You can also use your imagination to decorate your tree as you would like, although instructions are given on 4 ways to decorate yours!
Being such a delightful and unusual design,
this pattern uses a variety of techniques to create the Christmas Tree design, including round peyote and herringbone stitch.
As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 52 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading.
This ornament bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica.
Round peyote and herringbone stitch
is used but full detailed instructions are given and no previous knowledge of either stitch is required.
Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads.
There are 3 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 6 cm x 3.5 cm (not including loop).
1 x 8mm gold plated bead, 7 x 4mm gold plated beads are also required for the decoration on the tree, however you can decorate your tree anyway you like, and most beads between 3mm – 7mm will work.
Suggestions are also given for items to use including coloured thread (KO Apple Green and Nymo Brown), wooden kebab sticks and felt tip pens - However these are only optional and not required to complete the item.
The bead pattern supplied is 19 pages and includes 52 full colour photo instructions.
