She lives up near the top of the Christmas tree, glistening away in her icicle tassel dress of fire polished Crystal AB beads. The Ice Princess is a cute little lady and a delight to bead up. She looks good in various colours of dress, so why not bead up a princess to match your Christmas colour scheme! The ice princess takes around 2-3 hours to bead, and is an ideal project to give as gifts. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 82 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This ornament bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. A form of Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 6 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 7 cm x 5.75 cm. 1 x 4mm Swarovski Crystal Rose AB bead is required for the nose along with 12 x 4mm Crystal AB and 12 x 6mm Crystal AB Fire Polished beads are required for the dress and loop.
