3D Beaded Harrison the Hedgehog Pattern Bead Pattern

Please note the UK Hedgehog population is in serious decline, ensure there is easy access into your garden for them by creating little gaps under your fences and if you do spot one - leave a little food such as dog or cat meat and water at dusk for your little spikey friend and he will stop by again and again to see you. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern there are 53 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. A form of Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 3 delica colours in total and the finished beadwork is approximately 2.75cm x 1.5cm. 1 x 4mm Jet bead is required for the nose.
