3D Mini Pirate Figure with Treasure Chest Bead Pattern

If you have a beaded fairground with a pirate ship ride or indeed just love pirates then why not bead up a little mini pirate! And although we couldn’t fit a peg leg on him, he has everything else a pirate needs – stripy top and waist coat, eye patch, pirate hat, sword and even a parrot on his shoulder! Of course, as he is a pirate, he has been up to no good and he has a opening treasure chest full of loot! Using just a few beads and findings, these little figures are so quick to make up, taking less than an 1-2 hours to create. As usual with ThreadABead featured patterns we give full detailed photographic instructions and in this pattern, there are 105 detailed steps, making this pattern even suitable for beginners to beading. This bead pattern is made using Japanese Miyuki size 11 Delica. A form of Round Peyote stitch is used but full detailed instructions are given, and no previous knowledge of the stitch is required. Please note the pattern may not work with any other size and type of beads. There are 12 delica colours in total and the finished pirate is approximately 1.4mm x 2.7mm. 1 x 6mm Clear Crystals and 1 x 8mm Clear Crystals are is required for the pirate. Additionally, a selection of small beads and chain can be used to add treasure to the chest! The bead pattern supplied is 30 pages and includes 105 full colour photo instructions.
